Abstract

The paper considered the implications of two UK government papers and reviewed the findings of the Cox review combined with the parallel study by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI, 2005) Economics Paper No 15, 'Creativity, Design and Business Performance'. The research question explored the implications of these two reports upon those taking forward the higher education research agenda, the impact of design and creativity, and the pedagogic challenges.
