We are pleased to introduce the proceedings of the fifth international conference on Computing, Networking, Telecommunications & Engineering Sciences Applications 2024 (CoNTESA ’24), held from 18th – 19th December 2024, at Universiteti Metropolitan Tirana (UMT), Albania. We extend our warm, heartfelt thanks to our keynote speaker: • Professor Hoa Le Minh, Professor in Optical Communications and the Deputy Head of Department of Mathematics, Physics and Electrical Engineering, Northumbria University, UK. The keynote and industrial invited speakers graciously and voluntarily offered their time to share their many years of experience and deep knowledge. Without them, the series of the CoNTESA conferences would not have been successful. Thanks are also due to those who submitted papers and to the team of reviewers. The chairs and technical programme committee members must also not be forgotten for their eagerness to make this fifth conference in the series a continued success. Special gratitude must go to the International Association for Educators and Researchers (IAER) for their financial sponsorship as well as full logistical support and to Universiteti Metropolitan Tirana (UMT) for hosting this conference.
