Abstract

This paper explores the contested nature of sustainability from a feminist perspective, focusing on the concept of sustainability advanced by ecofeminism. My aim is to explore to what extent and how ecofeminism promotes sustainability and social justice in society by applying the concept to the situation of women in society.
