Abstract
This conceptual dance project developed by dancer and choreographer Friederike Zinn (BA Contemporary Dance, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London; DipHE Classical Ballet, Bath Spa University) as well as Dr Katharina Zinn explores the theme MOVING manifold. Starting from ancient Egyptian objects from Cyfarthfa Castle Museum, Merthyr Tydfil and the moments as well as movements of handling these objects, the theme is investigated under three lines of inquiry: • Moving the objects from Egypt to West Wales • Moving us (emotional aspects) • Move as interpretation – dance movements
